Mrs. Adrienne Y. Wharton is the Founder, CEO of I Luv My Hubby. She is passionate about giving wives the tools to develop a deeper relationship with their husbands and an unwavering faith to succeed in marriage. She is dedicated to dispelling the myth that marriage is disposable and divorce should not be an option. Adrienne believes that with God, couples can WIN in marriage. She is an entrepreneur, social worker, dream builder, author and COO of Brother Pass it On, Inc., where she and her hubby minister outside the walls of the church.
Adrienne was born in Springfield, TN and raised in Indianapolis, IN. She and her family lived in Atlanta for 17 years before God called them to return home to Indianapolis five years ago. She has been married to Mychal Wharton for 19 years and is the mother of Mychal-Nichelle and Zion Wharton.
Adrienne holds a B.A. degree in Criminal Justice from Clark-Atlanta University. She worked as a juvenile probation officer for over 10 years, and then worked in non-profit housing moving families into home ownership.
Adrienne’s passion is not only helping wives, but also helping others discover and develop their dreams to turn it into entrepreneurship. Adrienne believes God gives everyone a purpose and wants everyone to walk in that purpose. “The purposes of a person’s heart are deep waters, but one who has insight draws them out” (Proverbs 20:5, New International Version). She believes that when you walk in your purpose, your life changes forever. Most people never step into their greatness because of fear. One of her favorite quotes is “Fear is one of the biggest dream killers there is. Don’t live a life of regrets because fear held you back from your dreams.” Adrienne stands on and reminds everyone of Timothy 1:7 (Amplified Bible), “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].”
