First time author, Chandra D. Orr has a heart for helping women stretch beyond physical and mental limitations. She’s the Co-Creator of Galore, an executive’s accountability group in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was raised in Flint, Michigan, but relocated to Atlanta, Georgia where she performed in the opening and closing ceremonies of the 1996 Olympic Games. She now resides in Indianapolis, Indiana with her husband, Darrin and three children, India, Bryce, and Elle, and two grandsons, Israel and Jeremiah.
Chandra earned a Master of Science Degree in human resources and a Bachelor of Science Business Degree. Over the past 20 years, she’s learned the value of resourceful human development, leading to the creation of Live4aLivin LLC, a human resources training and development consulting firm. She focuses on career mapping, personal relevance, professional presence, conflict resolution, clear communication, skills development, merit recognition, Action accountability, program implementation, opportunity maximization and culture immersion. Live4aLivin’s mission is to teach individuals how to love what they do and to live the life they choose.
Chandra is a huge community builder and supporter. She is the secretary of Oxford Neighborhood Association, special events volunteer at the East 38th Street Public Library, IBE’s Classic Parade Lead Media communicator, creator of McDonald’s LLC Giving For Greatness Program that provides gifts for disadvantaged children, and the PTO President of Charles A. Tindley Accelerated School. She is the recipient of the 2015 Love Award from House of God for her community impact. Chandra enjoys dancing, singing and skating in her spare time.
